  1. There is little attention here to the implications climate change science has on the reasons behind Hurricane Maria. Does the march pay concern to the need to limit carbon emissions in order to help protect these Caribbean nations? Food being sent over should not be limited, however, perhaps long-term relief is not fully supported due to a lack of vision. If we do help rebuild the Puerto Rican infrastructure – what will it look like long-term? Is Puerto Rico simply a victim of climate change – or does the island depend on a fossil fuel economy, which is what is destroying it? Do Puerto Ricans have a good reason to stay and rebuild their world or should Puerto Ricans relocate to the mainland of the US in the face of a world that is capable of destroying it yet again?
